Most of the areas of the city are in the grip of scorching heat and heatwave for the last seven days. Coolers and ACs are also failing after some time. People are praying day and night that somehow they get relief from this heat. It seems that God has also heard their prayers. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain with strong winds due to Western disturbance today. It has been the sixth consecutive day in Delhi when people have had to bear the scorching heatwave. This scorching heat of May has equaled the record of the year 2013.
शहर के ज्यादातर इलाके लगातार सात दिनों से भीषण गर्मी और लू की चपेट में हैं। कूलर-एसी भी एक समय बाद जवाब दे रहे हैं। लोग दिन-रात बस यह दुआ कर रहे हैं कि कैसे भी करके इस तपिश से राहत मिले। ऐसा लगता है कि भगवान ने उनकी सुन भी ली है। मौसम विभाग की मानें तो आज पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के चलते तेज हवाओं के साथ गरज और बरसात की संभावना है। दिल्ली में लगातार छठा दिन ऐसा रहा जब लोगों को भयंकर लू झेलनी पड़ी है। मई की इस भीषण गर्मी ने साल 2013 के रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी की है।
