Pakistan, along with Somalia, Denmark, Greece and Panama have been selected as temporary members of the United Nations Security Council for a term of two years. Their term will start from the year 2025. Through secret ballot in the United Nations General Assembly, these countries were elected as temporary members of the Security Council from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026.
पाकिस्तान, समेत सोमालिया, डेनमार्क, ग्रीस और पनामा को दो साल के कार्यकाल के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद का अस्थायी सदस्य चुना गया है। इनके कार्यकाल की शुरुआत साल 2025 से होगी। संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में गुप्त मतदान के जरिए ये देश 1 जनवरी 2025 से लेकर 31 दिसंबर 2026 तक सुरक्षा परिषद के अस्थायी सदस्य चुने गए।
