दिल्ली की सात लोकसभा सीटों पर शनिवार को 1.52 करोड़ से अधिक मतदाता 13637 बूथ पर अपनी पसंद का सांसद चुनने के लिए मतदान कर रहे हैं। शुक्रवार को राजधानी के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से पोलिंग पार्टियां बूथों के लिए रवाना हुईं। एक लाख तीन हजार से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों को मतदान कार्य में लगाया है। भीषण गर्मी चुनौती भीषण गर्मी के कारण चुनाव आयोग के सामने वर्ष 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के मुकाबले मतदान प्रतिशत बढ़ाने की भी चुनौती रहेगी। 12 मई 2019 को हुए बीते लोकसभा चुनाव में दिल्ली में 60.52 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ था। उस दिन अधिकतम पारा 39 डिग्री सेल्सियस रहा था। सीट वार बात करें तो नई दिल्ली सीट पर सबसे कम 56.87 फीसदी मतदान हुआ था।

On Friday, polling parties left for the booths from different parts of the capital. More than one lakh three thousand employees have been deployed for polling work. Due to the scorching heat, the Election Commission will also face the challenge of increasing the voting percentage in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In the last Lok Sabha elections held on 12 May 2019, there was 60.52 percent voting in Delhi. The maximum temperature that day was 39 degrees Celsius. If we talk seat wise, New Delhi seat had the lowest voting percentage of 56.87 percent.
