केंद्र में नई सरकार के गठन के बाद मौजूदा सरकार के कार्यकाल में 22 जून 2024 को पहली जीएसटी काउंसिल की बैठक बुलाई गई है. वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण की अध्यक्षता में जीएसटी काउंसिल की ये 53वीं बैठक होगी जो नई दिल्ली में आयोजित की जाएगी. नए वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 के पहले दो महीने अप्रैल और मई में जीएसटी कलेक्शन में जोरदार उछाल देखने को मिला है.
After the formation of the new government at the Center, the first GST Council meeting has been called on 22 June 2024 during the tenure of the current government. This will be the 53rd meeting of the GST Council chaired by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman which will be held in New Delhi. There has been a strong jump in GST collection in the first two months of the new financial year 2024-25, April and May.
