उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी सरकार ने एक बार फिर लव जिहाद पर सख्त कदम उठाया है. योगी सरकार ने यूपी विधानसभा में ‘लव जिहाद’ बिल पेश किया है. जिसमें दोषी के लिए उम्रकैद की सजा का प्रावधान है. विधानसभा में योगी सरकार की ओर से यूपी विधि विरुद्ध धर्म संपरिवर्तन प्रतिषेध विधेयक 2024 पेश किया गया. विधि विरुद्ध धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए फंडिंग को भी इस कानून के तहत अपराध के दायरे में लाया गया है.
The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has once again taken strict action against love jihad. The Yogi government has introduced the ‘Love Jihad’ bill in the UP Assembly. In which there is a provision for life imprisonment for the guilty. The UP Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Bill 2024 was introduced by the Yogi government in the Assembly. Funding for unlawful religious conversion has also been brought under the purview of crime under this law.
