राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने गुरुवार को लोकसभा और राज्यसभा की संयुक्त बैठक को संबोधित किया और हाल ही में संपन्न हुए लोकसभा चुनावों के बाद सभी नवनिर्वाचित सांसदों को बधाई दी. राष्ट्रपति ने 18वीं लोकसभा के सभी नवनिर्वाचित सांसदों को बधाई देते हुए कहा, ‘आप सभी देश के मतदाताओं का विश्वास जीतकर यहां आए हैं. देश और लोगों की सेवा करने का यह अवसर बहुत कम लोगों को मिलता है. मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि आप राष्ट्र प्रथम की भावना के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन करेंगे.’
President Draupadi Murmu on Thursday addressed a joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and congratulated all the newly elected MPs after the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. Congratulating all the newly elected MPs of the 18th Lok Sabha, the President said, “All of you have come here by winning the trust of the voters of the country. Very few people get this opportunity to serve the country and the people. I have full faith that you will perform your duties with the spirit of nation first.”
