रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा थल सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना में युवाओं की सीधी भर्ती के लिए चलाई जा रही अग्निपथ योजना में कथित बदलाव को लेकर बीते एक सप्ताह से विभिन्न सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर कई खबरें वायरल हो रही हैं। इन अपडेट्स में अग्निपथ योजना के ‘सैनिक सम्मान योजना’ के तौर पर फिर लॉन्च किए जाने की दावे किए जा रहे हैं। साथ ही कहा जा रहा है कि अग्निवीरों की भर्ती अब 4 वर्ष की बजाय 7 वर्ष की जाएगी और अवधि पूरी होने पर 25 फीसदी की बजाय 60 फीसदी अग्निवीरों को स्थायी कमीशन दिया जाएगा। हालांकि, इन सभी दावों को सरकार की तरफ से अफवाह बताया गया है।
For the past one week, several reports have been going viral on various social media platforms regarding the alleged changes in the Agnipath scheme being run by the Ministry of Defense for direct recruitment of youth in the Army, Navy and Air Force. In these updates, claims are being made that the Agnipath scheme will be re-launched as ‘Sainik Samman Yojana’. It is also being said that the recruitment of Agniveers will now be for 7 years instead of 4 years and on completion of the period, 60 percent of Agniveers will be given permanent commission instead of 25 percent. However, all these claims have been termed as rumors by the government.
