महाराष्ट्र में ज्योतिर्मठ के शंकराचार्य स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद के बयान पर राजनीति गरमा गई है। मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे की अगुवाई वाली शिवसेना के नेता संजय निरुपम ने कहा कि “शंकराचार्य जी को राजनीति में नहीं जाना चाहिए। हम शंकराचार्य जी के इस राजनीतिक भूमिका के खिलाफ यहां उपस्थित हैं।”
