तिवारी ने लोकसभा में कहा कि एक जुलाई से तीन नए अपराध कानून लागू हो गए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि फौजदारी के कानून की इस प्रक्रिया से देश में पुलिस राज आएगा और इस कानून से दो समांतर प्रक्रियाएं बना दी गई हैं। नए आपराधिक कानून में बहुत बड़ी खामियां हैं।

RJD सांसद मनोज कुमार झा ने सदन में ECI पर एक सर्वे के आधार पर कमेंट किया. वहीं आरक्षण के मुद्दे पर उन्होंने बिहार सरकार को चैलेंज किया और कहा हम कोर्ट जाएंगे.
