उत्तर प्रदेश पावर कार्पोरेशन की तरफ से नए बिजली कनेक्शन की दरों के लिए नियामक आयोग में संशोधित कास्ट डाटा बुक का प्रस्ताव दाखिल किया गया है. इसके तहत अब गरीब ग्रामीणों को भी नया कनेक्शन लेने के लिए 44 प्रतिशत अधिक भुगतान करना होगा. इसी प्रकार उद्योगों की दरों में भी 50 से 100 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा की तक वृद्धि प्रस्तावित है.

Under this, now even poor villagers will have to pay 44 percent more to get a new connection. Similarly, an increase of more than 50 to 100 percent is also proposed in the rates of industries.
