पहले चरण की वोटिंग से पहले प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने वोटर्स से वोटिंग की अपील की है. पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट कर कहा, लोकतंत्र का सबसे बड़ा उत्सव आज से शुरू हो रहा है! लोकसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण के मतदान में 21 राज्यों और संघ शासित प्रदेशों की 102 सीटों के लिए वोट डाले जाएंगे. इन सभी सीटों के मतदाताओं से मेरा अपील है कि वे अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग जरूर करें और वोटिंग का नया रिकॉर्ड बनाएं.
Before the first phase of voting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the voters to vote. PM Modi tweeted and said, the biggest festival of democracy is starting from today! In the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, votes will be cast for 102 seats in 21 states and union territories. दिल्ली शराब नीति घोटाले मामले में गिरफ्तार अरविंद केजरीवाल इस वक्त तिहाड़ जेल में बंद हैं। सीएम केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी के बाद से ही दिल्ली सरकार के कई मंत्री कह चुके हैं कि अरविंद केजरीवाल जेल से सरकार चलाएंगे। अब इस मामले को लेकर दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट में PIL दाखिल की गई है।
