भारतीय नौसेना ने अपने नए नौसैनिक बेस INS Jatayu को सेना में शामिल कर लिया। इस मौके पर नौसेना प्रमुख एडमिरल आर. हरि कुमार मौजूद थे। इस नौसैनिक बेस से दुश्मन देशों की हरकतों पर अब पैनी नजर रखी जा सकेगी। साथ ही समुद्री लुटेरों पर भी लगाम लगाया जा सकेगा। आईएनएस जटायु से लक्षद्वीप द्वीप समूह में नौसेना की पकड़ मजबूत होगी और क्षमता निर्माण तथा द्वीप क्षेत्रों के व्यापक विकास के नए युग की शुरुआत होगी
The Indian Navy commissioned its new naval base INS Jatayu. On this occasion, Navy Chief Admiral R. Hari Kumar was present. From this naval base, the activities of enemy countries can now be closely monitored. Besides, pirates can also be controlled. INS Jatayu will strengthen the Navy’s hold on the Lakshadweep Islands and usher in a new era of capacity building and comprehensive development of the island territories.

जौनपुर सांसद धनंजय सिंह कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में जेल से जिला न्यायालय पेशी के लिए लाये गए। एमपी एमएलए कोर्ट द्वारा मंगलवार को एसटीपी के प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर अभिनव सिंगल के अपहरण, धमकी व रंगदारी के मामले में दोषी करार दिया था। आज उनकी सजा पर बहस के बाद कोर्ट ने 7 साल की सज़ा सुनाई है। इसके साथ ही 50 हजार रुपये अर्थदंड भी लगाया गया है। ऐसे में वे अब लोकसभा चुनाव नहीं लड़ सकेंगे।
