It is extremely cold in the northern states of the country. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Friday (29 December) was 20 degrees Celsius. A drop in temperature was also recorded during the night. Similar situation is going to prevail on Saturday (December 30), where the maximum temperature will be up to 18 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature can go up to 9 degrees Celsius. People are not going to get respite from the cold even during the day. People will not get much sunlight.
